On milad mubarak night of Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus, Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus lead Maghrib Isha namaz in Fatemi Masjid, Rozat Tahera, Bombay. Straight after namaz, Mazoon Mola proceeded for ziarat in Rozat Tahera. From Rozat, Mazoon Mola was escorted to Ewan-e-Husaini by a scout band of mumineen for ziafat of Ghulaman-e-Husain. Upon reaching Ewan-e-Husaini, there was a grand display of fireworks. The ziafat began with tilawat of Darees, and then qasidas and madehs, some of which were written by children of Mazoon Mola on occasion of this milad. There was sharbat wadhawanu, and then najwa was arazed. Abdeali bhaisaheb (bin Syedi Mazoon Saheb) presented fakhir najwa to Mazoon Mola on behalf of Ghulaman-e-Husain members and did shukur araz and prayed for long life of our Aqamola tus and in his saya mubarak, for the long life of Mazoon-e-Dawat. Other Ghulaman-e-Husain members also expressed shukur with feelings of mohabbat. One member did araz that this month of Rabi-ul-Aakhar is full of miqaats of khushi and barakat. First, we celebrate the milad of Imam-uz-Zaman, and then the milad of his Dai, Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin Saheb. And finally, the milad of Mazoon Mola is “Khitamohu Misk” (Surat 83, Ayat 26 of Quran): the ending is like fragrant musk.

Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus did bayan for a few minutes in which he enjoined the Ghulaman-e-Husain to fervently serve the Dawat and Dai with ikhlas, devotion and sincerity. He prayed the shahadat of Imam Husain (SA) to which mumineen responded with pur josh matam. Mazoon Mola then prayed for long life till qiyamat for Aqamola tus, and did doa for mumineen muminaat and their children.

All mumineen present at ziafat had sharaf of qadambosi. Mazoon Mola then proceeded to a newly built hall near Ewan-e-Husaini for jamwanu. Mumineen muminaat were also served fakhir jaman, and by happy coincidence, the total number of thaals in this year’s milad ziafat was 92.

On Milad morning, Mazoon Mola did ziarat in Rozat Tahera. Maghrib Isha namaz on pehli raat of Jumadil Ula was in Fatemi Masjid. A mohib mumin presented Mazoon Mola with a 51 kg cake, which was distributed to all mumineen muminaat and their children, who had come to do salaam to Mazoon-e-Dawat and araz tehniyat of milad in the khushi ni majlis that followed immediately after namaz. Salaam continued for about 3 hours, in which mumineen muminaat arazed tehniyaat, flower bouquets, cakes and gifts to Mazoon Mola.

May Allah keep our Dai Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus on the throne of health and prosperity till day of qiyamat, and in his saya, give long life to his Mazoon, Syedi wa Moulai Khuzema Bhaisaheb Qutbuddin tus. And keep mumineen muminaat in amaan and hifazat always. Ameen.
