The milad mubarak of Aqa Mola Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus on 20th Rabi ul-Aakhar is followed by the milad of his Mazoon Syedi wa Molai Khuzaima bhaisaheb Qutbuddin tus on the 29th of the same month, as a continuation of the Imani joy and celebration of mumineen mukhliseen all over the world.

In Bombay, Mazoon Mola tus milad was celebrated with great enthusiasm, happiness, and mohabbat. Mazoon Mola tus arrived for maghrib isha namaz in Fatemi masjid on milad night. Mumineen attended in large numbers. The josh of mohabbat and imaani fervour was apparent when after namaz Mazoon mola tus made his way into Rozat Tahera, thronged by mumineen who couldn't wait to see the noorani chehra of their Mazoon and the heart-warming tabassum as they arazed mubarakbadi. After ziyarat Mazoon mola tus proceeded to Evan-e-Husaini where Ghulamane-Husain khidmatguzars had attained sharaf of ziyafat on this auspicious night.

The ziyafat function began with tilawat of Qurane-majeed, which was done by Husain bhaisaheb son of Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus. For about 15 magical minutes all those attending were mesmerized by the roohani barakaat of Quran and the sweet, melodious voice of Husain bhaisaheb, who is hafizul-Quran.

Mazoon mola tus then directed Taher bhaisaheb son of Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus to do bayan of the ma'na, the meaning of the aayaat of Quran just recited (from surat Furqan beginning with aayat 61). After hamd and salawat Taher bhaisab began his bayan: the Quran says, He is most auspicious who created the heavens and in it celestial bodies, the sun and the radiant moon. He is the one who brings forth day and night one after the other, for those who wish to be thankful to Him. The 'ibaad ur-Rahmaan, the worshippers of the Most Benevolent, the mumineen, truly, are those who walk the earth with dignity, who dismiss the houndings of the ignorant with a salam. Syedna al-Moayyad has said in explaining the meaning of this aayat that when a dog barks at you, it is not necessary for you to bark back at him. The 'ibaad ur-Rahmaan are those who pray to God late into the night with sajda and qiyaam; who ask God to keep the fire of hell away from them; who, when they spend, do not waste, nor are they miserly, rather find a healthy balance between the two; who do not pray to any God other than Allah taala, the One and Only, do not kill the souls which God has prohibited, do not embark upon zina or illicit relations - those who embark upon these sins will be severely punished manifold. Except those who beg forgiveness, perform 'amal saleh or virtuous deeds, then Allah taala will replace their sayyeaat with hasanaat, for He is All-forgiving and Compassionate. But one condition for obtaining forgiveness is to resolve with true heart never to commit those sinful acts again.

The 'ibaad ur-Rahmaan are those who never bear false witness, and those when they see vainful activity, gracefully pass it by. They do not squander their time on the vainful lahw la'b of this world. When the aayaat of their God are recited on them they do not close their eyes and ears to them, rather, they listen with all their heart, mind and soul. And they pray: O Almighty God, grant me qurratul-'ain in my family, my children, for generations to come; and assemble us in the divine presence of the Imam, in his zumra. Syedna al-Moayyad says that true qurrat ul-'ain is to see our children grow up to be mumineen like we are, through generations.

It is these people, says Allah taala, who will be rewarded the heavenly abode in return for their forbearance, and will be welcomed therein with tahiyyat and salaam; and here they will stay, the best of the best of abodes, forever.

Taher bhaisaheb then arazed tehniyyaat to Mazoon mola tus on behalf of Ghulamane Husain and all mumineen mukhliseen, and said that may Allah taala deliver tehniyyaat to Aqa Mola tus, and to Syedna Taher Saifuddin in Jannat al-firdaws., and prayed for long life of Aqa Mola Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus and his Mazoon with great fervour. Those present listened to the bayan with rapt attention and were greatly moved by it.

After Syedas-shohada, madeh of Tahera baisab, daughter of Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus was recited, in which she said that this day, Syedna Taher Saifuddin rejoices in jannat al-quds, there is happiness in the heart of Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus, and flowers of joy were blooming among mumineen mukhliseen. Then madeh of Aziz bhaisab, son of Syedi Mazoon Saheb tus was recited in which he said that mumineen muhibbo are saying with their heart, that O Qutbe din mola may you live for thousands of years. He said that the ikhlaas, taqwa the sabr and strength of this Mazoon is such that mountains might sway, but he is strong and steadfast in the khidmat and ta'at of his Dai' forever.

Then after sharbat and wadhawani rasam, Ghulamane Husain did araz of najwa of shukr.

Then Mazoon mola tus said doaiyya kalemaat in short but with great shaan. It is not possible, in all humility, to recount that here. Nevertheless I include a few sentences for barakat. Mazoon mola tus said that my wilaadat [birth] was in the year 1349 hijri, 1940AD. Bawajisaheb did tarbiyyat with unbounded shafaqat and taught me to always do khidmat of Dai’ and Dawat in both favorable and most difficult of circumstances. Then Syedna Burhanuddin Aqa raised his adna ghulam to the a’la rutba of Mazoon. May Allah taala give afzalul-jaza to Bawajisaheb in jannatul-firdaws and keep Burhanuddin Aqa on the throne of health till qiyamat; and keep me in the ta’at and khidmat of my Mola till the last breath. Then Mazoon mola tus did zikr of Husain Imam shahadat in two sentences, but with such dard that in every sentence mumineen shed tears and tears and did purjosh matam.

Then all present got the sharaf of qadambosi, after which there was fakhir jaman of almost 50 thaal.

On milad day, and the night of the first of Jamadil-ula, there was maghrib isha namaz followed by majlis in Fatemi masjid from approximately 8 to 11 p.m. Qasida were recited, and there was qadambosi of mumineen, muminaat and children, which lasted for nearly 3 hours. Mumineen attended in large numbers, and eagerly came forward to do qadambosi and araz tehniyyaat, flower bouquets, cakes and gifts to their beloved Mazoon mola tus. After majlis and qadambosi Mazoon mola tus proceeded to do ziyarat of Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA).

May Allah taala keep the saya of our ruhani bawa Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin tus on us mumineen till qiyamat, and his Mazoon, our ruhani maa always; and keep us obedient to our spiritual father and mother, which Syedna al-Moayyad has said is the way to jannat.
